Homecrest, an iconic American Manufacturer of outdoor furniture since 1953 is located in the beautiful state of Minnesota. Homecrest is located at 1250 Homecrest Avenue. We are presently looking to hire skilled Sewing Machine Operators. We have immediate, full time positions and part-time positions available. These sewing positions are within our cushion finishing/soft goods department. You will be sewing beautiful and colorful outdoor grade fabrics and pvc sling fabrics. If you have industrial sewing or other sewing experience we want to meet with you! But we will also train.
This position requires assembling cut fabric panels including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Sewers are to keep the sewing machine clean, oiled, change needles and attach and adjust attachments. Duties include filling and packing cushions and sling pads with fiberfill per procedures. Operate blowing machine and filling backs and pillows according to instructions. Produce buttons and attach snaps.
Other Skills and
Qualifications:
Reading and math skills are required. Candidate will be required to operate a sewing machine including use of both feet to operate foot controls. Other skills includes use of scissors, tweezers, and having the ability to read and comprehend production drawings. Good eye hand coordination is important and experience a plus but again, we are willing to train.



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
